Kentucky OSH & the Kentucky Ready Mixed Concrete Association are Presenting a Safety Training Program for KRMCA Members

CONFINED SPACE AND TRUCK CLEANING PROCEDURES

1. Confined space procedures – This portion of the program will delve on the problems of clean out, the hazards, lock out tag out, and the liability of owners when using sub contractors. Presenter Matt Wells will investigate the process required and discuss recommendations.
2. The second portion of the program will deal with HazCom on the dangers of chemicals used around ready mix plants especially the truck cleaning solutions and the safety requirements plants must follow.

Who Should Attend

· Anyone in your organization that is responsible for your company’s Confined Space Procedures and HazCom Procedures

When: March 25, 2008. 10:00 till 2:00 pm. Box lunch will be served during program.
